Linares represents the architecture, food and memory of northeastern Mexico. Unlike Bustamante, dominated by caves and springs, Linares stands out for its street plan, historic buildings, regional sweets and citrus-growing surroundings.
Recommended: walk the center, visit the Cathedral of San Felipe Apóstol, see the colonial aqueduct and Botica Morelos, try glorias (milk-and-pecan candies), visit Cerro Prieto dam for nature and combine Linares with Nuevo León's citrus routes.
