History and Origin

The Peña de Bernal is considered by the Otomi-Chichimeca cultures as an energy charging center. For decades, the equinox has attracted thousands who climb this monolith to welcome spring dressed in white, in a fusion of mysticism and tourism.

About Bernal

Home of the Peña de Bernal, one of the world's largest monoliths and sacred Otomí-Chichimeca land (UNESCO), plus cheese, wine and crafts.
